In addition to my degree in Chemical Engineering, I have over 5 years of experience in the chemical laboratory.  My strengths include:  strong math skills and work with statistics, much experience in problem-solving and analysis, and expertise with instrumentation.  My previous focus was in the analysis/testing of raw materials and complex samples along with report preparation.  Within 3 months in my previous position I was promoted to assistant head of the testing department.  Throughout the job my responsibilities encompassed working with progressively more complex hazardous waste materials, determining their chemical make-up, as well as testing solutions and methods of detoxifying the compounds.  As requested, I am well experienced in the general practices and operations of a chemical laboratory.  In addition you would find me a quick learner and a positive team member.
