Democracy Works

A non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1999 and dedicated to making democracy work fairly, inclusively and vibrantly for all. We work to increase civic participation particularly by disenfranchised and underrepresented individuals and communities.  We work in collaboration with local and national advocacy groups, community and neighborhood organizations, and faith-based groups to advocate for public policy changes that make our democracy work fairly and inclusively.
