NCCC offers the CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) test to its students and recognizes CLEP credit if students are matriculated and are using the CLEP credit earned to meet degree requirements. 

CLEP examinations are available in 34 subjects.  Computerized CLEP is offered on an individual basis in the spring and the fall and must be scheduled at least 3 weeks ahead of time.  To schedule an appointment and to discuss how CLEP credits apply to Northwestern courses, call Denise Linden at (860)738-6351.  The fee charged is $85 (the new fee rate starting July 1, 2008).  To view the current CLEP chart, click here.

The Admissions Department determines granting of credit for CLEP tests.  CLEP testing is only available for NCCC students.
