Entrepreneurial Center of NW CT & Warner Theatre Present Seminar on Drones

Winsted – Local business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to Discover the Commercial Use of Drones on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre, 68 Main Street, Torrington. Cost of the seminar is $25.

Attendees of this event, which is co-sponsored by The Entrepreneurial Center of Northwest Connecticut and the Warner Theatre, will learn about the technology, business applications, and regulatory compliance of Unmanned Aerial Devices (UAVs) or Drones, and how emerging businesses can use drones to propel their business to the next level. Examples of businesses who may benefit from this event may include entrepreneurs in the fields of construction, agriculture, real estate, life and safety, insurance, photography, media, and more.

The seminar will be led by Corey Morin and Nina Anderson. Morin is a licensed FAA Drone pilot who will offer a live demonstration of drone flight in the studio. He will also discuss and answer questions about the application of drone usage in this innovative field. Anderson is an FAA Wings seminar instructor, has an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate and will discuss air safety.
