NCCC's Computer Center maintains a comprehensive set computer facilities available to all registered NCCC students, which are located throughout the Winsted, CT campus. We are pleased to offer Windows and Macintosh computers for utilizing software applications for access to the Internet, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, databases, web page authoring, presentations, programming languages, etc ...

If you need help while using a campus computer facility, a lab assistant is available to assist you with computer applications such as Word and Excel.

Computer Center Hours of Operation
Please check the room postings for current hours of open labs and the library at the beginning of each semester.

The Computer Center observes the holiday and scheduled closures corresponding with NCCC's academic calendar

Computer Lab Accessibility Features
Open labs maintain an inventory of accessibility equipment:

Hardware may include adjustable desk heights to accommodate wheel chairs, headphones, ergonomic chairs, keyboards and mice.

Software may include audible software, which speaks to the user as the mouse is scrolled over text, and text enlargement software.

Campus computers are managed with a Printer Manager system, please see your lab assistant for more information.
