Collegiate Education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Persons Program (CEDHH)

CEDHH Mission Statement

The CEDHH program provides courses specifically designed for students who are deaf and hard of hearing and also provides a broad array of support services for students registered in NCCC's mainstreamed courses. Each student will receive appropriate academic curricula designed for making a successful transition from the secondary to the postsecondary setting.

The CEDHH program assures that persons who are deaf and hard of hearing have equal access to excellent quality education with appropriate support services at any Connecticut public postsecondary program.

The CEDHH program serves as a statewide resource center, which provides information, training, consultation services and technical assistance to postsecondary programs throughout Connecticut to insure the provision of optimal educational environments for persons who are deaf and hard of hearing.
