Dean of Academic & Student Affairs
A message from Dean Jean

As the dean of academic and student affairs at Northwestern Connecticut Community College, I subscribed to the belief that programs and services that offer students and college community members an opportunity for quality academics, training, intellectual and cultural development, and personal enrichment are an integral part of the mission and goals of a progressive community college.  We are that college!  At NCCC we work to ensure that the philosophical and programmatic planning in the academic and student affairs areas are high quality, relevant and accessible to you - our community.

We have a strong commitment to fostering effective, innovative teaching and an understanding of the importance of developmental, general, global, and career education.  To offer these multifaceted learning opportunities, all of us at NCCC work in a collaborative, open and productive environment where ideas and projects are developed for student success. Student success is our purpose.

Fueled by our pride in our distinctive program offerings and interest in professional growth, our ideas for learning translate into teaching excellence. We have great social activities, cultural events, extensive technology; many support services, and a truly student-centered environment.

The faculty and staff at NCCC are passionately involved in the educational process under every possible circumstance.  We are interested in you - you are the community at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. Please visit our campus or contact us anytime.
